February 11: W Mountain

After a weekend of skiing/training separately, celebrating family, their accomplishments and our personal relationships...it was time to reconnect again and SKI together.  As the sky cleared and temperature dropped, the Gunnison darkness unveiled the beauty of Orion’s belt in the sky and a blood orange moonrise to the east.  We skied hard and fast, no words, no conversation, just movement of our bodies as they glided up to the summit of Tenderfoot Mountain.  As we looked down at lights of Gunnison, we honored and celebrated the community below. Thank you Gunnison Valley for providing this opportunity to have, and share, a happy & healthy life with you all!
