The 2019 Healthy Kids Colorado Survey showed an increase in poor mental health outcomes among our middle schoolers, especially for girls. This course will help girls build relationships with each other, build relationships with trusted adults in the community, and explore cultural messaging targeted toward girls. The girls will have the opportunity to identify topics they would like to discuss at the beginning of the course. This course will be co-led by GCSAPP staff Betty Sue Gurk and Emily Mirza
